Opened in May 2008 Rive Gauche and Left bank is arguably Kilkenny’s most popular
restaurant, bar and venue. We are located in the heart of the medieval city, opposite
Kilkenny Castle.

reopened its doors following refurbishment on April 28th 2015. The new Kitchen and
Cocktails Bar, close to Kilkenny Castle on The Parade, houses two distinctive areas; the bar,
a chic and sophisticated drinking area and the dining area, where its modern dishes take
centre stage. 
A recently renovated Bank of Ireland Branch, Left Bank features a beautifully designed main
bar with a lively atmosphere and friendly staff and a large covered and heated smoking area
with its own indoor and outdoor bar and an outdoor fireplace.
